Position Is Power

Where you sit determines how you play. Later position gives you more information.

• Early position: Play tight, only premium hands

• Middle position: Expand range slightly with strong hands

• Late position: Play more hands, steal blinds

• Button: Most advantageous spot, play widest range

In position, you act last and see what everyone else does before making your decision. This is a huge advantage!
